Things to be thankful for…

This week’s Thankful Thursday is being hosted by Laurel at Laurel Wreath’s Reflections. Be sure to go visit all the participants and see how God is pouring his blessings out.

I know I say this almost every week, but there is just so much stuff to be thankful for.

First off I am thankful for swaptree.com. This is an online book/cd/dvd swap. I got a book off of there called The Power of a Praying Parent by Stormie Omartian. I just started this book 2 days ago and I have already gotten such a blessing out of it. It encourages praying for your children, which I already do. However, the book gets specific! The author recommends prayers for things I would have never thought but my kids definitely need prayer for. I can’t wait to finish reading the book.

I am also thankful for my second week of being a full-time stay at home mom. We are still adjusting, me from not going to work and the kids from not going to daycare. But we have been having a great time together and that is what matters.

I am thankful that in 2 1/2 weeks I will be traveling to Texas for 3 weeks to visit with family. I’ll already praying for a safe trip and an opportunity to do God’s work while traveling.

Wow a three week stay, that is awesome. I enjoyed the time I was a stay at home Mom. It is a hard job, and sometimes lonely but so worth it. I pray you have a great day.
