Swapping Books
February 24, 2008One of my favorite websites is PaperBackSwap.com. I love browsing the books and clicking the Order button and then getting a book in the mail without having to pay for it. This is a book lover’s dream, well this book lover anyways.
Another site I enjoy is SwapTree.com which you can swap books, CDs, and DVDs. I like this because I can get a book for a CD I never listen to anymore. Or I can get a DVD for a book I have already read. The only thing I don’t like about this site is that if someone doesn’t want what you have, you can’t swap.
So, if you are looking for some books to read or CDs to listen to, please check out my swap lists at the links above. I’m getting ready to move out of state and don’t want to move anything I don’t have to. If you don’t have an account with either swap website, just let me know what you want and I will send it you (if you are in the US). I just want to find a good home for these books and CDs.
I haven’t been able to find a swap site for VHS tapes yet. So soon I will be listing my VHS tapes. They will all be up for grab and I have a lot of VHS tapes to find a home for. So, when I get them all listed I will give them away on a first come first serve basis.

Lisa, you are right. I guess I just didn’t explain what I meant very well. I just meant that with PaperBackSwap you just have to have credits to get a book, whether you purchase them or get them from posting books to swap. Where at swaptree, you have to have an item to swap, they don’t use a credit system. I hope that explains it a little better.
