I’ve been tagged

November 12, 2008

I don’t normally do these types of memes but this one involves books and as most of you know I love books.

Relimom tagged me.

These are the rules

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 56.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next two to five sentences.
5. Don’t dig for your favorite book, the cool book or the intellectual one. Pick the Closest.
6. Tag five people to do the same

The closet book to me is Wild Horses by Jenny Oldfield which is part of The Horses of Half Moon Ranch and is one the next books I will be reviewing on this blog.

Here is the sentences asked for:

“You mean he started the landslide?” Matt frowned.

Sandy stopped work to listen.

Kristie untethered Silve Flash, ready to lead her out to the remunda, the strip of grassland by Five Mile Creek.  “He’s the on who set the first rocks sliding by making his horse lope up the track.”

The 5 people I am going to tag are Louise, Ronnica, Jendi, Heather, and Candice.

    Thanks for tagging me.

  2. Ronnica Says:

    But I don’t read books.

Okay, okay, this isn’t true. I’ve actually done this before, so I won’t be posting it, but I’ll do it right here in the comments for your enjoyment. Unfortunately, the book closest to me is the book that I’m currently writing a book review on, a commentary on Leviticus. Sorry!

“But each in its own turn: Christ the firstfruits; then when He comes, those who belong to Him” (1 Corinthians 15:20-23)

Seven weeks (or fifty days from the Day of Firstfruits) was the Feast of Harvest-also known as the Feast of Weeks, the Feast of the Fiftieth Day, or Pentecost. From the New Testament we know what happened on the fiftieth day after the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Okay, that’s rather boring, sorry. It’s from Nancy Ganz’s Leviticus: a Commentary for Children.

    Thanks for the tag!

  3. Heather @ Not a DIY LIfe Says:

Thanks for the tag! I’ll probably get to it next week! Have a great weekend!
