We made it to Dallas last night. Whew! It is never fun traveling on airplanes with two young kids, regardless of how well they act. My kids did pretty well, but it is still a lot of work, especially with my 18 month old girl. She is a busy body, never stops. So since she was a lap child (meaning free) she had to stay in my lap for the flight. She was not happy about that! Overall the flight was good and I even got a couple compliments on how well behaved my kids were. I just said, "Really, my kids?" So Friday we drive to Oklahoma City to start house searching! I can’t wait!
Today I would like to share another one of my favorite songs, When He Was On The Cross, I Was On His Mind. This song as been recorded by a couple different groups but most noteably by the gospel group The Florida Boys.
I’m not on an ego trip, I’m nothing on my own
I make mistakes I often slip, just common flesh and bone
But I’ll prove someday, just why I say, I’m of a special kind
For when He was on the cross, I was on His mind.
Chorus
For He knew me yet He loved me
He whose glory makes the heavens shine.
So unworthy of such mercy.
Yet when He was on the cross, I was on His mind.
The look of love was on His face and thorns were on His head
The blood was on His scarlet robe and stained a crimson red
Though His eyes were on the crowd that day, He looked ahead in time
For when He was on the cross, I was on His mind.
Chorus
For He knew me yet He loved me
He whose glory makes the heavens shine.
So unworthy of such mercy.
Yet when He was on the cross, I was on His mind.
