Aloha Friday
It’s been a while since I participated in Aloha Friday hosted by An Island Life, but now that I’m a little more settled from our move and such I thought I would get back to it.
For those who don’t know here is what Aloha Friday is all about:
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My question this week is:
What is your favorite room in your home?
Mine is my new kitchen! Since we have always lived in an apartment before now, my kitchen has always been super tiny. My new kitchen is large, has a skylight, and even came with professional series appliances. I’ve been in cooking heaven since we moved in!

My favorite room in the house is my bedroom. It is the only room that is MINE. I can go there to get away from anyone and anything. It is also very comfortable with a great bed and a great chair perfect for reading.

My favorite room in my house is not a room at all! It is my yard. We live in the country in Maine and our yard is completely surrounded by tall trees and rugged hills. It is beautiful! My favorite thing to do right now is to hang the laundry on the clothesline in the morning. It is so peaceful!

I would have to say my bedroom. I have down pillows and a down comforter. I keep the fan on high so I can snuggle under the comforter all year (and Hubby doesn’t mind!). Plus that’s where I get snuggles with my Hubby and my little one (since we co-sleep). After a busy day, it’s wonderful to be all together in one place, even if we are sleeping!

Currently my favorite room is the attic. The attic is my sewing room which is actully one of the upstairs bedrooms. I spend hours in there everyday.

Since we are in a temporary place that’s hard to say. We have one big room that is living room, dining room, kitchen, office, laundry room so I guess that will have to be my favorite. LOL.
Also wanted to say thank you for the info about the CFBA. I signed up and am eagerly awaiting my first book.

My favorite room is our bathroom….it has a nice garden-style jacuzzi bathtub. It’s great for relaxing….filling it up with bubbles and reading a book.

When it’s clean, it would have to be my daughter’s room. It’s so pink and pretty!
