Mommyfest 2008 and a Giveaway

MommyFest 2008 has started. Mommyfest is turning 5 and is having a blog party in celebration.

MommyFest will be on May 12-16, 2008 and moms all over the net will be blog hopping through other participating mom blogs. We will have a list of participants in a special post in the Mommyfest 2008 blog with Mr. Linky. Moms will have an opportunity to meet, learn a bit more, share and chat with other moms in cyberspace.

My intro for the party:

My name is Courtney and I am a stay at home mom to 2 great children. I have son who is 3 and a daughter who is 19 months. We just recently (last week) moved from Maryland to Oklahoma but I’m originally from Texas. I love reading, blogging, movies, and anything to do with technology.

I come bearing gifts. I’m am giving away a book, The Simple Truth by David Baldacci (hardback). I wrote a small review of the book at The Book Nook Club and you can read it here or click the link above and it will take you to Amazon. To enter, just leave a comment telling me the title of your favorite book. I’m always on the look out for new books to read. This contest will end at the end of MommyFest, May 16, 2008 and I will announce the winner on May 17, 2008.

I am part of a book club as well and our latest favourite was Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons. It was additionally a neat read because it was about a book club! I love David Baldacci but I haven’t read that one yet.
