Praises for 2007
![]()
With 2007 over with, they are so many things to be thankful for. I keep a prayer journal and always mark off when a prayer was answered and date it as well. I went back to look over it for the past year and I was amazed at the goodness of God. Almost of the prayers had been answered one way or another. Maybe not in the way I wanted, but they were answered. Some I had not marked as answered, but as I thought about it they really were, just not in an obvious way. So I am very thankful that God answers prayers!
I am also thankful for the Lord keeping my family safe from harm and healthy. Allowing me the ability to quit my job and become a stay at home mom. The wonderful blogs out there that have helped me become more organized, get on a budget, and those that do bible studies and devotionals. They are all uplifting and encouraging.
I can’t wait to see what the Lord will do in my life and my families’ life in 2008!

I love keeping a prayer journal too. It is such a great reminder of how much God really does love us! He is always faithful to answer when we pray!
Have a blessed day!

I truly believe God answers every prayer. I think sometimes I am just too blind to notice but like you later on I think - Wow! He did answer me in His Time and in His way.
God is good!

Yes, sometimes we don’t see the prayers as answered because we saw the answer different than our Lord. Very cool that you kept a prayer journal and look back on it.
Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.
Blessings to you and yours.

Hi Courtney,
I really loved read this post. Rarely do we keep our memories of answered prayer in a recorded place. I am convinced that we need to and the Bible is filled with those who make memorials of encounters with God.
I would really appreciate you if you have time to stop at Spiritually Unequal Marriage and share with us there how you keep a record of answered prayer.
We are starting a series on Friday. Pop in and let the readers know you keep a record of prayers. Awesome. Thank you for this TT post. Wonderful
